The moment that I became most engaged with what I am learning was setting up the blog and creating my class binder. Although, posted to other people's blogs, I've never had one of my own, as I'm not consistent in recreationally interacting online regarding various issues. Most of my thoughts are fleeting, therefore can be disregarded as easily as regarded. So, starting a serious blog is exciting.
Initially, I felt distanced from the class, as I missed the first two weeks of class and was really anxious about being able to catch up and follow the discussions.
I find that my professor is a breath of fresh air, as he is most willing to assist in anything that I would find troublesome regarding my studies. Also, unlike most professors, he responds to my concerns quickly and clarifies what's expected. When reading the 'Assignments' tab of the class, I noticed that he has his contact information listed along with immediate access to contact him...now that I think about it, he has this on all of the tabs. Awesome!!
Although, the reading has not surprised me, I was both astonished and stoked to know that Prof. Brandon posted the reading assignments online, as a courtesy for those that have not received our texts. Being that I swapped another class I signed up for in December for this one, I was upset that I didn't have my texts and looking at the cost of them, I'd have to take the proper steps to acquire them cheaper. This act of kindness and empathy was by far the greatest extended to me by a professor.
